My Yoga and relaxation classes are held every Monday and Wednesday @ 7.30 pm at the Peninsula sports centre, Holbrook.
Previous yoga experience is not necessary for the Monday class, neither is the ability to be super bendy! You only need to bring yourself in comfy and stretchy clothing to enjoy the classes. Mats are available but should you have your own please bring it along. The Wednesday class is more suitable for those that have done yoga before.
It’s no secret that yoga and focused breathing/relaxation can be one of the best things you can do to relieve stress and anxiety and strengthen, stretch and tone the body. My classes will give you the time to tune into your body and your breath with a mix of held poses/stretches to build strength, flexibility and awareness, working towards a simple flow sequence (sun salutation). At the end of every session we do a deep guided relaxation, where tension is released from the body on a physical level and your mind is relaxed ready for a good night’s sleep and the days ahead.
